What We Believe

We believe in a personal, transcendent, and sacred God, the creator of everything, who is eternal, and who manifests himself in three different persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4)

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by his substitutionary death on the cross, was resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to earth right hand of God the Father, and lives forever to intercede for us.

After ascending to heaven, Jesus poured out his Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to carry out his command to preach the gospel to the whole world. An obligation shared by all believers today.

We believe that everyone is by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness of sin are freely offered to all by our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Trusting in Him, that person is immediately reborn and is sealed by the Holy Spirit. He is forgiven all his sins and he becomes a child of God, destined to spend an eternity with the Lord.

We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, seals, and bestows gifts on each believer, baptizing them into the body of Christ.

We believe that the Holy Spirit will come to any believer who asks in faith, enabling them to preach the gospel with power. We also believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in scripture are legitimate today if they are exercised within biblical guidelines. 1 Corinthians 12-14

We believe in the inerrancy of the Scriptures, that the Bible - Old and New Testament - is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
